Hardware

Software

  • Information about Autodesk software (Maya/3ds Max): please contact Peter Skotte
  • Information about the game engine Unity: please ask other students since many students (in particular in higher semesters) are very familiar with it. (Johan and Martin also know one or two things about it.)
  • A Unity package with a virtual model of the AVAlab for the HTC Vive is available.
  • A guide for integrating Oculus Rift DK2 into Unity can be found here: Oculus Rift Guide. A unity package with a demo project showing good practices can be downloaded here: Oculus Rift Demo in Unity.
  • A guide showing how to implement augmented reality in a Unity project, using the Vuforia SDK, can be found by following this link: Vuforia Guide. A group of students has also successfully used the Vuforia SDK with Unity and the Epson Moverio BT-200.
